Mia M. Singh
Mia M. Singh's experience encompasses the representation of business entities in business litigation, business transactions (contractual and business formation matters), and labor and employment litigation. Ms. Singh has over 19 years of experience as an attorney and she has handled over 70 trials. She plays an integral role in protecting the interests of businesses with thorough analysis, effective negotiation and accuracy in drafting contracts that exemplify the client's goals and needs.
Ms. Singh has shown leadership in the law and has served two terms as President of the Weston Bar Association from 2015-2017. She continues to serve on the Board of Directors of the Weston Bar Association, and her public service includes co-hosting CLE events, judicial presentations and forums, and promoting and partnering with other non-profit organizations to raise awareness of current issues and causes.
Ms. Singh obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in 1995 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1998. She began her legal career at Broward County Public Defender's Office and later transitioned to civil practice representing businesses. Ms. Singh has represented companies involved in industries including healthcare, telecommunications, technology, hospitality, construction, manufacturing, education, retail, sales, media, entertainment, financial services, commercial debt, and insurance. She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Southern of Florida.
